Job Description:
Summary:

  • This position is responsible for housekeeping/floor person for floors/hallways on different levels and machine scrubbing in accordance with the schedule, utilizing floor equipment, putting away weekly supplies, stocking supplies, disposing daily of collected trash/cardboard/misc., in all designated areas.
  • Cleaning daily in assigned areas to include but not limited to; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, in stairwells, outside, etc. will utilize chemicals, machinery, paperwork, cleaning & safety tools.

Requirements:

  • Must be safety oriented, a self-starter, can work independently or in teams, good communication skills, can carry out verbal directions with little to no supervision at times, dependable, must follow schedules/checklists, stays on task.
  • Can utilize or be trained to use equipment.
  • Can maintain a safe consistent cleaning routine and the ability to multi-task and to be trained & safely operate various floor scrubbing machines; work independently or in teams.
  • Adheres to department/company safety & procedure guidelines. Experience: previous housekeeping & equipment use preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to safely push, pull, lift or carry up to 50lbs; bending, twisting, perform work that involves gripping & the use of your hands & arms above the level of your shoulders, stand or walk up to 8 hrs. a day on hard surfaces.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $17.00 - $17.01 per hour
