General Managers are those looking to advance and become future leaders. As a General Manager, you directly influence the success of Jersey Mike’s Subs by supporting senior management, keeping restaurant operations moving smoothly during your scheduled shifts. You will set the standard and lead, coach, and support your Jersey Mike’s Team while delegating tasks so that customers have the Jersey Mike’s experience. As our General Manager your objective is to grow, live, teach, and demonstrate Jersey Mike’s purpose in all interactions.

The primary requirement of a Jersey Mike’s employee is commitment to company goals:

• Create food consistent with Jersey Mike’s high quality standards
• Maintain restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others
• Work in a fast-paced team driven atmosphere
• Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency
• Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience
• Full understanding of the terms accountability and information

Qualifications for the Job

• Education: High School Degree. Associates Degree or higher-level education preferred
• 2 years of General Manager Experience, can include experience such as Restaurant Manager
• 5 years of QSR Management or fast casual dining environment, this can include experiences in locations such as Cousins Subs, Noodles & Company, Taco Bell
• Must have reliable transportation
• Full Time
• Problem Solving Skills with a proactive and solution oriented mindset

Key Competencies

• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to improve self and skill sets, by looking for the best in others and assume positive intent, leading with kindness, and support
• Able to communicate effectively with guests combined with an awesome personality
• Ability to meet schedule requirements and is a reliable performer
• Passion for the food industry and previous experience in a restaurant environment.

Additional Job Requirements

Specific tasks may be delegated to other individuals as appropriate, but ultimate responsibility rests with the General Manager. General Managers are responsible for the complete and total management of a Jersey Mike’s store / operation, including:

• Store sales
• Volume
• Quality of service
• Customer satisfaction
• Profit margin
• Create employee schedule
• Place inventory orders
• Lead employee training
• Lead by example
• Participate in all Jersey Mike's training programs
• Participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions

• Competitive salary starting at $58,000 per year, plus monthly bonus with the potential to earn up to $90,000!!!
