Dispatch / Driver

Job Duties: Include the following but are not limited to:

Dispatch

· Receive and record information for calls in a high-volume setting.

· Log all service requests, schedule client rides, and monitor progress.

· Schedule drivers and prioritize routes.

· Coordinate and schedule maintenance of the vehicle.

· Ensure drivers have up-to-date logs and accurate paperwork.

· Reconcile collected payments received.

· Maintain files and databases.

Driver

· Safely drive accessible vans as scheduled.

· Operate and maintain the safety and security of passengers at all times.

· Clean and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.

· Assist passengers on and off the vehicle.

· Operate the vehicle’s passenger lift safely and according to directions.

· Report issues of vehicle damage, hazards and risks, cleanliness concern, or relevance.

· Adhere to all traffic laws.

General

· Maintain a positive image of Osage County General Public Transportation.

· Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

Reports to the Director of Osage Co Public Transportation

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Possess a current valid Kansas driver’s license or be able to obtain one quickly.

• Pass a dot transportation physical.

• Pass a dot drug screening test.

• Must have some knowledge of computers.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $16.50 per hour
