We provide company vehicles, equipment, and tools you need to get the job done! We focus our work primarily in the Central Mass area, encompassing Worcester County and the western portion of Middlesex County.
Primary Purpose:
Generac Generator (Commercial & Residential) Install, Service, and Maintenance technician
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform maintenance, service, and repair on Generac Generators: Commercial & Residential
- Develop inventory system and management of materials & parts
- Assist Lead Electrician by performing tasks demonstrated by them and under their direct supervision.
- Always maintain a clean and debris free work area, including supervisor’s area.
- Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment
- Immediately report any un-safe issues evident on the work site
- Document and report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor
- Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Assist with recording job file for material used / needed
- Maintain and track all tools & equipment
- Assist with inventory tracking and stocking
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Perform maintenance checks and keep records for company-owned vehicles.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license (3 Years minimum)
- Not Required But a Plus: Current Generac Generator Certifications
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Small engine repair and diagnostic experience
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits, wiring and operating principles
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
- Ability to use testing equipment, hand, and power tools
- Ability to utilize and report through daily operations software / mobile app
Experience:
- Minimum 3-year experience in small engine repair & service
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
