The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for global strategy development, planning, design, implementation, and monitoring for Black & Veatch’s well-being program
  • Develop a communications process to create awareness of tools and resources, inspire participation, and motivate our professionals to adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles
  • Partner with our Global Benefits Director and Global Employee Relations Director to ensure a robust and holistic program that is integrated with overall company benefits and employee relations programs and services
  • Develop strong relationships with Human Resources Business Partners, Employee Resource Groups, and other key stakeholders to serve as the subject matter expert on all things Well-Being
  • Oversee and manage global Well-Being partners and vendors to hold them accountable to high quality/execution standards and service levels
  • Develop actionable metrics for our Well-Being programs to track engagement, effectiveness, and value to our professionals and the Company
  • Identify and advocate for Well-Being program improvements as appropriate to maximize impact and enhance the overall employee experience
  • Serve as a Well-being Champion, organizing and participating in townhalls, employee meetings, on-boarding activities, and country/region/office specific initiatives/activities related to our Well-Being program
  • Ensure that Black & Veatch’s values are shining through in its Well-Being philosophy and strategic vision

The Team

As part of BV Business Enablement, you will be part of the critical and forward-thinking group that enables our people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible by providing creative solutions. Functions in this group include CIO/Global Information Technology, Diode, ESH&S, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services.

Management Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications


  • In-depth knowledge of existing and emerging Well-Being programs/practices and vendor analysis/selection
  • Experience simultaneously managing multiple competing stakeholder demands and leading sustained change efforts
  • Strategic “big picture” thinker who will understand what well-being means within the BV culture
  • Ability to create a strategy/vision and operationalize it
  • Experience thinking globally and supporting global programs/initiatives
  • Confidence and courage to advance bold ideas and effect change necessary to establish a best-in-class Well-Being program
  • Experience with the development of engaging and transparent global communications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years progressive experience in the design, management, and administration of global well-being and/or employee benefits plans and programs
