JOB SUMMARY

The groundskeeper will operate equipment and perform general labor functions for golf course maintenance team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains golf greens, tees, fairways and rough with regular mowing and moving holes as needed.
• Picking and washing balls from the driving range.
• Work duties are performed outdoors so ability to perform manual labor under adverse weather conditions is necessary - hot sun, rain, wind, etc.
• Must be physically able to safely operate maintenance equipment to include- utility vehicles, mowers, tractors, leaf blowers, string trimmers and various hand tools.
• Maintains and rakes bunkers as needed.
• Operates and transports equipment in utility vehicle or golf cart.
• Trimming trees, weeding flower beds, hand watering, moving spot sprinklers and picks up general garbage and debris around the property.
• Provides routine maintenance of equipment and tools and reports any safety issues or repair needs to supervisor.
• Promotes and follows safe workplace practices and policies.
• Ensures that operation of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.
• Other related duties as assigned or needed.
• Must be reliable and able to start early in the morning.
• Must be over the age of 18.
• Pay is starting $16 to $18 per hour depending on experience

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
