Novelis is seeking a GPMO S enio r Process Excellence Manager. As a partner in collaboration with various teams, you will create lean GPMO capital project process strategies, methodology, controls, and other standards that are easy to follow, can be efficiently implemented, and have a measurable impact on the quality of our capital project and portfolio management at Novelis.

This role will be responsible for benchmarking industry leading best-practices, collaborating with various internal and external subject matter experts, and creating all the technical content and workflows for the process libraries that enable the success of transformation goals for the organization and the Global Project Management Office (GPMO). The person in this role will report to the GPMO Transformation Head.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
  • Create comprehensive best-in-class GPMO process strategies and ways of working
  • Collaborate with other organizational process excellence leaders to build process roadmaps and prioritization needs for Novelis
  • Validate process definitions using real-world examples and case studies
  • Build cross-functional workflows capturing detailed process steps, owners, and expected lead times to be used for planning purposes
  • Strategically link process flows showing both interdependencies and enablers
  • Identify ambiguities and inconsistencies in capital project management to define clear challenge statements for future process development work
  • Deploy clear differentiation between mandatory and recommended standards

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in cross-functional business process and analysis
  • 5+ years of experience in process development and /or managing multiple project development phases
  • Experience in technical process writing, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Experience with MS Visio
  • Expert level in MS Excel
  • Ability to present and communicate clearly to senior leaders and large audiences with high engagement
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to influence outcomes in global and matrixed organizations
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Business, or related technical field

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, Masters, or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • 5+ years in technical process development including work instructions
  • Experience with SAP and/or Oracle
