Graphics + Marketing Manager

Kane Realty Corporation, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking candidates for our Graphics + Marketing Manager on our Development Team. Primary Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with the Director of Design and the Development team to convey Kane's new developments, both informationally and graphically, in an engaging and compelling manner across a variety of mediums for both internal and external audiences
• Design, write and maintain development project materials to include print and digital collateral for marketing/leasing/investor communications, presentations, proposals, colorized site plans and floor plans, leasing packages, offering memorandums, project summaries, market reports and occasional light content for social media and websites
• Develop and maintain a centrally accessible, well-organized, library of up-to-date materials for all new development projects to include, but not limited to: artful project photography, stock photography, current marketing materials, leasing packages, attractive and detailed area maps, and .ppt & .pdf design templates following the established file organization and nomenclature methods
• Perform research on site and City histories, market growth information and statistics to support reports and presentations and project storylines
• Source, engage and manage outside partners for services related to district and project-level initiatives to including photography, renderings, digital flythroughs, videos, website development, signage and printing
• Create and deliver print-ready design files and manage print/installation of miscellaneous graphics and signage including window graphics, branded fence scrim, site signage, and temporary and permanent new development signage
• Proactive communication across departments to gauge graphic design needs for new developments and ensure up-to-date/accurate new development information is in use. Assist front-line and Leasing teams with up to date digital presentations and load onto ipads
• Understand and utilize all existing and future District and project level brand identities as appropriate, including Kane corporate and unique property brands. Collaboratively monitor the use of new project brand guidelines to ensure the intended spirit and integrity of each unique brand are upheld over the life of the project
• Manage and/or collaborate on special projects as needed
• Nurture a positive and collaborative relationship across all Kane project teams and departments
• Keep informed on design software and marketing/design trends both inside and outside the real estate industry

Skills, Education, Experience & Traits:

• Collaborative, self-motivated team player with a positive, can-do attitude and ability to meet deadlines in a fun, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Works well with constructive feedback and stays cool under pressure, can decipher complex feedback and make appropriate adjustments within design in a timely manner
• The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for aesthetics and visual details, an impeccable understanding of design, layout, color, and typography and a passion for written and visual storytelling
• A powerhouse of creativity who constantly thinks outside the box
• Bachelor's Degree and 5 - 8+ years of experience in a related position
• Formal graphic design education/training is a must
• Familiarity with and a passion for the Greater Raleigh community is a must
• Strong communication, copywriting and editing skills are a must
• Excellent time management organization, planning and problem-solving skills are a must
• Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (including but not limited to PowerPoint) are a must
• Knowledge of other software/platforms preferred, including but not limited to: Canva, Issu, Flipsnack, Flickr and Pinterest
• Print production knowledge (working with third party vendors) is preferred
• Professional exposure to Commercial Real Estate, Real Estate Development and/or Architecture/Design industry is a plus
• Photography, motion graphics and video production and editing experience is a plus
• Candidates will be asked to provide design portfolio to include graphic design work, writing samples and examples of presentations
