Coldwater Cafe is a fine dining restaurant is historical downtown Tipp City. We offer seasonal menus and everything is made in house. From our bread to salad dressings to desserts. Coldwater Cafe is seeking a talented Grill Cook to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen. You will work directly under the supervision of our Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all served food on grill side
- Breaking down and cleaning assorted meats
- Making starches - potatoes, rice, etc
- Making assorted sauces
- Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions
- Follow standardized recipes
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Daily cleaning duties
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in teams
- Must have a positive and respectful attitude
