Group Sales Associate - Station House Inn
Job description
The Station House Inn has been hosting travelers, vacationers and adventurers since 1972. One of South Lake Tahoes classic Motor Hotels, Station House Inn is an informal hotel with a rustic vibe and 96 rooms. Right outside our doors are the beautiful alpine lake, private beach, ski resorts, restaurants, shops and casinos. Whether you're here to relax or work, the Station House Inn is your basecamp to explore and unwind.
The Sales Coordinator will promote and book groups for Station House Inn. The Sales Coordinator will work with clients on initial rates and contract terms, and convey event information to internal departments. The successful candidate will also work to maintain and optimize the event schedule and calendar.
Responsibilities:
- Responds to incoming event inquiries quickly and efficiently and provides detailed proposals and contracts.
- Prospecting through outbound sales calls, emails, and meetings to generate new business leads.
- Conduct all group sales efforts for Station House Inn
- Conducts property tours, answers questions and provides information regarding property services, policies, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with representatives of local and user groups.
- Enter and maintain complete and accurate information into the booking system.
- Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal/external clients.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, training on industry specific software will be provided.
- Multitask-oriented, organized, detail-oriented, and focused on customer service.
- Professional communication and appearance.
- Office experience with general phone and office equipment.
- Self-motivated with excellent organization skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary, including excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
