Grove Mini Golf Shift Manager

Grove Mini Golf is a family-owned putt-putt course seeking enthusiastic individuals who can help us create a fun, safe and customer-focused culture and facility for the whole family! We are looking for responsible and attentive individuals to join our team. Our Shift Manager will be capable of the following:

• Supervise the entire crew and all workstations in the day-to-day operations on either day or night shifts
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service and experiences, as well as adhering to all procedures and policies
• Coach and train crew members on proper procedures on each shift; prioritize continuous training of all employees
• Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of facility to assure standards are being met
• Be a customer advocate communicating needs to crew members to assure customers satisfaction during shift
• Flex between workstations to provide help where it’s needed
• Support management on all areas that impact the business including labor cost, waste monitoring, sales and cost of goods; monitor management of daily cash procedures; provide accurate inventory data and report all data to General Manager

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to take initiative, lead and motivate the team
• Has excellent verbal and written skills
• Must have management experience of restaurant and/or event facility
• Can recognize problems and solve them independently
• Experience with cash handling and inventory
• Be ServSafe Certified or become ServSafe Certified within 30 days of employment and uphold all ServSafe guidelines
