Jiva SalonSpa, a busy downtown Cedar Falls Aveda lifestyle salon & spa, is looking for a passionate and energetic part-time Guest Coordinator to join our team! This position is an important part of our business as our Guest Coordinator provides our guests with their first and last impression of our salon! If you are passionate about providing an excellent guest experience, this may be the right position for you!
In addition to providing an excellent guest experience, our Guest Coordinator is also responsible for providing guidance and assistance with services and retail products.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide all guests with an excellent guest experience
- Schedule guest salon and spa services while implementing proper procedures
- Educate guests on services and products
- Maximize books for each service professional in a fair and consistent manner
- Close sales and encourage guests to pre-book services
- Resolve guest challenges, utilizing support from the Salon Manager when necessary
- Responsible for balancing and checking register drawer
- Interacts with other team members and management, involving the utmost in professionalism and teamwork

Requirements:- One year previous experience in a customer focused position
- Excellent client service, communication and organization skills
- Evening and weekend availability
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to perform basic computer skills
