Position Summary:
Managing the overall day-to-day operations at the Revere Health Mountain Point Medical location. Coordinate with several different departments/specialties, physicians, managers and staff. Work with Administrator to solve workflow problems, concerns. Meet and communicate regularly with administrator. Manage the day-to-day scheduling for the location for several specialties to ensure adequate exam room space, workstation space.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Patient check in, check out, answering questions to include assisting with billing questions.
  • End of day closing- balancing.
  • Monitoring Phreesia for missed payment postings.
  • Handling basic patient complaints.
  • Forward any serious concerns to appropriate manager/administrator.
  • Foster a pleasant and professional atmosphere in the check-in reception area, as well as in the back clinic area.
  • Resolve conflict.
  • Monitor hours and work performance of staff to ensure competent and efficient productivity.
  • Approve time.
  • Scheduling staff according to varying clinic volumes.
  • Hiring of GRS staff.
  • Handling corrective counseling of staff when appropriate.
  • Performance evaluations.
  • Oversee inventory/ordering of office supplies for Mountain Point location.
  • Coordinate with Facilities and IT Depts. Regarding any needs for the location.
  • Monitor housekeeping efforts, cleanliness of facility.

Qualifications:

  • Sound understanding of medical office operations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Skills in planning, organizing, and delegating.
  • Skills in problem solving.
  • Computer skills; demonstrated experience in practice management software and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a medical office setting preferred
