Situated along the scenic Charles River and overlooking the Boston skyline, the recently renovated Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge is a welcoming hotel conveniently located near Cambridge’s Kendall Square, the city steps from some of the most prestigious universities such as MIT, Boston University and Harvard. The short 5-mile drive from Logan Airport makes travel fast and convenient. Our central location provides easy access to points of interest in both Cambridge & Boston!
- College level reasoning, math, and language skills
- 2+ years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplines
- Time management and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently
- Ability to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction
- Prior cash handling experience necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- Computer experience required
- Problem solving skills with good judgment and reasoning
- Ability to anticipate guest needs
- Self-motivated; possess overwhelming desire to be of assistance to guests – enjoy serving others
- Have a working knowledge of hotel
