Situated along the scenic Charles River and overlooking the Boston skyline, the recently renovated Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge is a welcoming hotel conveniently located near Cambridge’s Kendall Square, the city steps from some of the most prestigious universities such as MIT, Boston University and Harvard. The short 5-mile drive from Logan Airport makes travel fast and convenient. Our central location provides easy access to points of interest in both Cambridge & Boston!

Position Info
Guest Services Manager will maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by overseeing front office and hotel activities. Own guest requests for their stay, including high-paying and repeat guests. Partner with other departments to understand guest expectations and anticipate needs in order to prevent complaints.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • College level reasoning, math, and language skills
  • 2+ years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplines
  • Time management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently
  • Ability to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction
  • Prior cash handling experience necessary
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
  • Read, write and speak English fluently
  • Computer experience required
  • Problem solving skills with good judgment and reasoning
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs
  • Self-motivated; possess overwhelming desire to be of assistance to guests – enjoy serving others
  • Have a working knowledge of hotel
