Guest Teacher at French Run Elementary

Reynoldsburg City school is actively recruiting long-term Guest Teacher building subs for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. The guest teacher will be assigned to one building. The Guest teacher will report daily to the assigned building and support students and teachers in classroom coverage, instruction and daily building tasks.

The successful candidates should have an active Ohio teaching and/or substitute license. If you are interested AND qualified to teach in Ohio, please complete the application.

• Demonstrates a growth mindset
• Provides an atmosphere conducive to learning consistent with the school mission
• Follows established school discipline procedures
• Follows established procedures and rules that enhance learning
• Encourages students’ attendance
• Follows lesson plans.
• Enthusiastic about student growth and success
• Ensures that students are never left unattended in the classroom.
• Keeps students safe and engaged.
• Monitors student progress and assists where needed by keeping close proximity.
• Maintains existing classroom management and discipline procedures.
• Understands building and classroom policy and procedures.
• Provides written feedback for the classroom teacher.
• Maintains accurate attendance records.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree - any field.
• Clean criminal background.
• Positive professional references.
• Experience working with school-aged children.
• License: Ohio teaching and/or sub (Required).
