Job description
We are looking for a high energy, proficient and creative Salon front desk receptionist with Social Media skills for our small high end hair salon.
Ideal candidate would be friendly, dependable, great at customer service, take initiative, have the ability to multitask and prioritize items and pay attention to detail.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-years experience in customer service
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities Proficiency in administrative computer software such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong marketing and sales abilities.
- Consistent professional presentation and pleasant demeanor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Punctual, with exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be required to greet and welcome clients, secure bookings, answer calls, manage appointment schedules, process transactions, and create marketing and social media plan.
- Offer beverages, make coffee, tea and other beverages offered
- Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability
- Inform clients about new services and discounts
- Maintain a tidy reception area and salon
- Update client records with contact and e-mail addresses, appointments and services offered
- Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude
- Opening and closing the salon, if you are opening you must arrive 30 minutes before the first client arrives to ensure the salon is ready, and opening duties are completed before first clients arrival
- Managing phone calls, emails, deliveries, and retail inventory
- Recording, posting and editing content for social media platforms
- Work collaboratively with social media manager management to plan social media marketing schedule and posts
Pay: $17-$19 per hour based on experience
- Paid Sick time off
- 8 hour shift
- Hours will range between 10am - 8pm
- Wednesday - Saturday work schedule
- Availability to work Saturday's is a must
