Job description
Primary Function:
The Associate Hardware Technician assists in the installation and maintenance of software and hardware equipment for user groups. The incumbent installs new, or expands existing PC-based computer systems, as well as computer hardware to Windows 10 and Office 365. Assists with implementation of requests for network changes, supports telecommunications systems, and repairs computer-related failures. Provides technical support to end-users, including desktop applications, and performs other job-related duties as requested.
Specifications:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with various computer programs/applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft OSes, and other software packages, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of and some exposure to application of PC's to business problems.
- Hands-on experience in hardware installation and support helpful.
- A+ Certification desirable.
- Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and be proficient in the English language.
