Job description
Starting wage: $25-$35 an hour
Schedule: Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays. Two-hour shifts in the evenings. Flexible shifts.

What you will do as Home Care Companion
- Light housekeeping: Do dishes and sweep, do laundry
- Feed and refill water for the pet
- Clean or change the litterbox
- Make bed
- Monitor dressing
- Monitor in the bath and trim nails.
- Walk with the client when ambulatory outside.
- Ambulation/transfers
- Protective Supervision
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments if requested.
What we look for in a Home Care Companion
- Six months experience as a Caregiver (in homes or facilities)
- Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Reliable transportation
- Reside in Friday Harbor
- Gets along with cats
- Compassionate

- Must live in Friday Harbor or be willing to go by ferry
