Paradise Christian School is currently looking to hire a Head Start/Early Head Start Disability/ Mental Health Coordinator
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Must be fluently bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must have experience working in Early Childhood with children ages ( 0-5)
- Meet DCF Requirements
- Be able to pass a Level 2 background check
- Be able to pass a drug test
- Have Good communication
- Have excellent computer skill, rapid data entry
- Able to relate and communicate with families
- Assist with families needs and be intuitive to get the necessary resources
- Have good follow up skills
- Be able to complete enrollment and registration of children
- Be able to monitor and track information
- Be a person who can Multi-task
- Preferably have experience in Early Childhood (ages 0-5)
- Must have a BA degree or higher in relevant field
- Preferably experience with Early Head Start/ Head Start program
- Have good English grammar and spelling for writing anecdotes and other documents.
- Have an understanding of the Disability process, FDLRS process, IEP, IFSP, Early Steps, Behavior modification, Pyramid Model, Social-Emotional Development, Mental Health, DECA Screening, Follow up intervention plans, Referrals process, to name a few.
- Have a degree in Psychology, Mental Health or related. Preferably with a Licensed Mental Health certification
