Position Details
JOB TITLE: HEALTH AND NUTRITION TEACHER
JOB SUMMARY: The teacher has the responsibility for using the Michigan Curriculum Frameworks, Standards and Benchmarks, and high school Content Expectations to teach daily lessons to students at the secondary level.
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate, KH endorsement Family and Consumer Sciences
- Additional credentialed areas preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree, including all courses to meet credential requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with teachers and administrators and work successfully with teams and departments.
- Ability and willingness to teach Health 1 and 2.
