DIESEL TECHNICIAN

$5000 SIGN ON BONUS WITH 2 YEARS APPLICABLE EXPERIENCE

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to make major and minor repairs on trucks, including but not limited to: engine repairs and tune ups, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmission work, cooling systems, chassis repairs, brake work.

· Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, etc.

· Perform diagnostic tests

· Maintain accurate records of repairs performed

· Maintain cleanliness in the shop

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have at least 1- 2 years of experience as a Diesel Technician working on CLASS 8 vehicles - Cummins, and Detroit Certified candidates are given top hiring priority!

· CDL preferred (Class B CDL will be required after 6 months of employment)

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

· Bonus points if you have previous engine overhaul experience

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
