We are recruiting for a Level 2 Help Desk Support to join our team in Florham Park NJ. This is an ongoing program that will continue for a number of years.

***Applicant must be able to work 3 days onsite in Florham Park, NJ and 2 days remotely on weekly basis

Responsibilities:

· Answering the Helpdesk line and responding to end-user requests, questions, and problems.

· Troubleshooting of issues over the phone.

· Asset Management

· Active Directory ( Reset Password, Adding a new computer ), AS400 ( Password reset )

· Responsible for escalating issues appropriately.

· Mounting/dismounting network tapes (Veritas is the firms current backup solution)

· Sending Network backup tapes to the offsite vendor facility.

· Joining a new computer to domain

· Hard Drive Replacement, Hard Drive Wiping(deleting all information), Windows Image create/restore from Server, Printer installation, New Computer installation

Qualifications/Skills Required:

· Knowledge of Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007 -2010, Microsoft Outlook 2007-2010, Mac OS; general networking concepts a plus.

· Strong PC experience/skills

· Iphone / Ipad experience/skills

· Email account, restore and backup

· ARCServe is a plus

· Citrix is a plus

· SharePoint

· Prior Help Desk experience

· Customer Service Oriented

· Good troubleshooting skills

· Microsoft Office (outlook 2007 & 2010), Internet Explorer and Chrome, Printer paper jam, Webex

· Familiarity with Remote access technologies (dial up, broadband etc)

· VPN, Remote Access (Dameware)

· Experience with Help Desk ticketing systems (TOPdesk,Magic, TrackIt, Remedy, etc)

· Flexible work hours - needs to cover the other shift sometimes; must be able to work Saturdays.

· Familiarity with account administration & issues (resetting passwords, logon issues, etc)

· General Networking knowledge

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Help desk: 3 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Windows: 3 years (Required)
  • Customer Support: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Remedy: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Windows Remote Desktop: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer networking: 3 years (Preferred)
