We are currently accepting resumes for a Technician position in New Albany, OH.

This position is Onsite and will require working in office 5 days a week.

Schedule: M-F, No Travel expected. 1:00 or 1:30 am- 10pm (30/60 min lunch)

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

Responsible for performing intermediate level technical work and related activities associated with the planning, engineering, design, analysis, research, development, testing, construction, maintenance, and operation of Company equipment and facilities.

Asset Health Data Monitoring Center (AHDMC) Desk Job Function & Tasks but not limited to:

1. AHC Infrastructure Monitoring :

a. Support prompt service to Operations by responding as first call out concerning AHC monitoring alarms for the TDC’S performing reviews of the AHC monitoring SCADA alarms / data and guide on next steps before calling out TFS or TSAM engineering

b. Provide guidance to SCC AHC concerns on next steps for TFS safety based on data and dashboard reviews

c. Continually monitor the fleet for AHC monitoring equipment performance and issues passing along any equipment issues to the TSAM Engineering team and TFS

2. PMU Infrastructure Monitoring:

a. Complete End to End Monitoring ensuring the complete PMU data stream is good quality from relays to the TSAM Data Concentrators, through Operational software applications and onto the RTO's

b. Ensure PMU data is consistently flowing to the downstream customers and RTO’s keeping the entire end to end process running smoothly – track down issues when they arise with the necessary stakeholders

c. Ensure PRC-002 PMU’s are operational and sending good quality data to the RTO’S

3. Collaborate with TDC/SCC in near Real-Time decision making (Application Support)

a. Aid in switching activities that can affect poor performing assets by utilizing the above infrastructure and their data, assisting with possible De-rating of assets in near real-time

4. AHC PI / PI Vision Infrastructure Monitoring:

a. Ensure the data is good quality that’s being used on the SCC PI vision dashboards

b. Monitor server performance, ensuring data flow and services are live

c. Troubleshoot, when necessary, the lack of data, data quality or application issues when they arise escalate to IT/OT or the TSAM engineering team when needed

5. Notification Tasks:

a. This position will provide support in sending out timely Operational communication emails out to the various stakeholders during major events happening on the grid to notify them of current status and next steps

Minimum Requirements:

Education Requirements: Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/ Mechanical Engineering Technology or related fields plus 2 years of related utility industry work experience.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $28.05 per hour
