Job description
SUMMARY: Assists Driver, Crew Leaders and warehouse personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly;
- Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment;
- Identify to the Crew Leader any pre-existing or existing damaged prior to loading customers household goods;
- Delivers and stacks merchandise on customer's premises;
- Performs the writing of inventory when necessary;
- Assist driver pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles;
- Other duties may be assigned.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively and understand instructions in the English language.
Valid driver's license is required
