Summary
The High Voltage Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for profitable sales growth and building relationships
within the High Voltage Cable market. He or she will achieve this goal by developing the High Voltage Cable Solutions
business strategy and driving sales of high voltage cable products, services and engineered solutions in support of the
Utility Division’s multi-year growth initiatives. While working directly for the Director, High Voltage Cable Solutions, this
individual will be responsible for managing the High Voltage Cable business, working closely with the High Voltage sales,
commercial, and engineering teams to advance the business objectives identified within the multi-year strategic plan.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing and supporting the High Voltage business unit’s
objectives with respect to all facets of sales, customer development and customer management.
  • Provide market intelligence to position Southwire High Voltage Solutions for growth opportunities.
  • Develop business strategy for the High Voltage Cable market segment.
  • Generate customer targets, sales goals and plan to execute via agent sales force, high voltage sales engineers,
and direct sales.
  • Build effective relationships within the High Voltage cable market that support business objectives.
  • Proactively manage all aspects of monthly P&L in support of business objectives.
  • Effectively utilize software tools to track opportunities and measure success.
  • Encourage team building and an inclusive and high performing work environment through on-going
developmental training, leadership and people management skills.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field
  • 10 years of relevant industry work experience and 5 + years Sales and / or Product Management experience
  • Requires strong financial understanding with P/L management experience and analytical skills to work through
complex issues in all areas of the business.
  • Prior experience developing new markets and new products; international experience is a plus
  • Customer service experience and sales management experience
  • Requires a team player attitude continuously articulated in a well thought out vision and communicated
effectively
  • Must be skilled at using SW IT Systems including, but not limited to SAP and other Southwire sales tools
  • Requires up to 30% travel
  • Based on the development of the High Voltage Business, relocation to the deep South or the Northeast will be
required at somet time in the future
