Highway Heavy Concrete Repair Superintendent/Foreman

Interstate Improvement, Inc. is a general contractor specializing in Highway Heavy concrete repair and diamond grinding throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of Laborers, Operators and Concrete Finishers (10-18 employees) and assign tasks to execute the project in accordance with the work plan.
• Work with Project Managers to develop an effective plan for the completion of a project.
• Adequately respond to sudden changes to a project.
• Communicate directly with Project Owners (i.e. State DOT Inspectors, etc…) regarding planning, scheduling and specification interpretations.
• Record and report daily progress to Project Managers
• Handle on-site coordination with subcontractors and material suppliers

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Concrete work experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Ability to read and understand Plans and Specifications
• Have basic understanding of equipment maintenance and mechanical repair abilities
• Valid Driver’s license and good driving record to drive company truck is required.
• CDL or ability to get CDL (company assistance provided) is preferred.
• Must be able to travel full-time.

Job Type: Full-Time/Seasonal

Pay: Hourly or Salary compensation can be discussed. Average compensation is $70,000 - $100,000 per year (typically depends on volume of company work and based on working 9-10 months).

Company Truck is provided with paid fuel. Lodging costs are paid directly by the company without the need for personal reimbursement. Traveling Per Diems and Discretionary Bonuses can also be part of an employment package based on experience and performance.

Pay Frequency:

Weekly with direct deposit and online access to pay stubs.
