Hiring Seasonal Brewers and Packaging Operators
Job description
Either an entry-level or experienced operator role on the Packaging or Brewing Team, responsible for the execution of daily packaging, brewing, and/or sanitation tasks of the brewery. The role is seasonal, with an anticipated end date in August, or as production dictates, but not to exceed 6 months.

Packaging entails:
· Provides key requirements to run assigned machinery for the day
· Plans for and completes CIP, parts, and material changeovers
· Plans ahead and prepares the oncoming shift with material requirements, housekeeping needs, etc. as part of the shift hand off/closing duty expectations
· Works with shift lead and department trainer to find balance between learning, troubleshooting, and escalation to resolve incidents in a timely, safe manner
· Completes safety compliance training and actively follows lessons learned at all times
· Escalates quality concerns to lead
· Completes required production and quality checks, documents on logs/paperwork in real time as checks are done
· Fully understands SOP’s, set-up, changeover, operation, basic trouble shooting, clean up, of a variety of work stations
· Seeks opportunities for self and with the team for continuous improvement
· Follows escalation protocol for production, safety, or quality issues to lead when necessary
· Maintains a clean and organized workstation
· Performs all other duties as assigned
Brewing entails:
· Responsible for wort and beer production according to SOPs and within brewing specifications
· Escalating non-conformities to Brewer 2, 3, Head Brewer, and/or Brewmaster
· Maintaining high performance standards through safe operation, and strong communication (written and verbal)
· Physically performing assigned duties
· Sample beer for quality assurance
· Logging and reporting results as indicated
· Attending requisite meetings
· Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
· Participation in Elysian events
Job qualifications:
· Understands and employs a Safety-First approach
· Ideally 1-2 years of Brewing or Packaging experience
· Orchestrated Beer, Microsoft Office, BrewMaxx
· Willingness to work flexible schedules/overtime to meet deadlines
· Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and prioritize well
· Knowledge of packaging and brewing processes and techniques preferred, not required
· Works under general supervision with detailed instruction
· 21+ years of age
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
