Schedule: Full-Time Position - 2nd Shift

Summary of Job Duties:

Under the general direction of the Regional Home Care Supervisor, the Home Care Lead Aide is primarily responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the shared aide building or home care service area. The Home Care Lead Aide is the primary back up individual for the supervisor. Additionally, the Home Care Lead Aide is responsible for helping participants in their activities of daily living (ADLs) and performing personal care services for participants at their place of residence. The Regional Home Care Supervisor must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, plan care for and provide service to frail elders according to assigned responsibilities and Community LIFE standards. Work onsite in one location. Overtime may be required on an as needed basis to fill homecare assignments.

Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Required Licensure: Valid PA driver’s license is required; (vehicle not required). CNA preferred.

Required Experience: At least two years of related experience working with individuals in a health care or social service setting. Experience as a homemaker, personal care aide, home health aide or nursing assistant is desired.
