Home Infusion Nurse Needed – Per Diem – BRECKENRIDGE, MN

We are looking for an Infusion Nurse in BRECKENRIDGE, MN

We are seeking an individual who thrives in the company of patients and families living with rare diseases. We need a nurse who is at ease in a variety of patient populations and is comfortable caring for patients from a multitude of cultural heritages

• Age: Teenager
• Infusion frequency: once a week
• Duration: ~2 hrs.

The specific experience and skills needed for this role are as follows:

• Training will be provided on the disease state and drug, however, experience with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy preferred
• Experience mixing medication in patient's home using aseptic technique preferred
• Experience with accessing ports for infusions required
• Experience with starting peripheral IV's
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with patients and their families in a professional, compassionate manner required

· Have and maintain current CPR certification

· Home infusion skills related to patient safety/infection prevention preferred

Job Types: Contract, Per diem

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
