Job description

We are hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper specializing in all aspects of HOA accounting to join our company. The successful candidate will be proficient in financial statement preparation, budgeting, accounts payable and accounts receivable for several homeowner associations, and will be able to work independently to meet all deadlines. A Full Charge Bookkeeper with a background in HOA accounting will be ideal for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable. Review and process bills and invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Organize invoices and prepare checks for signatures.
  • Manage accounts receivable; prepare monthly and quarterly statements; track delinquent accounts; research and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Assist in prepartion of ledgers and dunning operations. Provide information to HOA attorneys as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain customer data files, and check registers.
  • Regularly conduct bank reconciliation; enter new transactions into general ledger system; monitor account reconciliations for accuracy.
  • Collect customer payments; correlate with bank deposits; research discrepancies if necessary.
  • Prepare worksheets for taxes to submit to CPAs.
  • Process HOA statmennts of acount for real estate transactions.
  • Fluency in English required, fluency in Spanish helpful.
  • Must be famiiar with QuickBooks Desktop and Online versions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
