Hotel Bartender
Job description
The Hotel Bartender is responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and responsive service, creating an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. The primary objective is to create a personalized experience for our guests that will make them want to return and bring friends.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Welcome and connect with every customer. Discover customer needs and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant or hotel functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in POS system.
- Prepare coffee barista drinks, specialty drinks and food orders utilizing Turbo Chef.
- Perform running side work and opening & closing duties throughout your shift as required by service station assignment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work and service area.
- Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).
- Cook and prepare breakfast and dinner menu items in the kitchen in an efficient and safe manner.
- Teamwork – Offer or ask for help to your fellow team members as situations arise.
- Thank your guests by name (if a credit card is used) for their visit and invite them to return.
- Have the ability to hand carry a minimum of three plates. All servers will be sharing in the food running.
- Have FUN.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bistro as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
- Be flexible to work both AM and PM shifts.
Qualfications:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Liquor License
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events unless approved by Manager
- Must have good communication & organizational skills
- Must have a high level of honesty and integrity
- Must be able to work quickly & efficiently and take direction
- Must have a knowledge of and adhere to all alcohol related laws
- Must be willing to have FUN.
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.50 - $11.00 per hour
