Position Title: Beachtree Properties Housekeeper

Position Summary: This position is maintaining the brands presentation standards. It is responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of the inn. It addresses all guests’ concerns in regard to property standards.

Position Goals and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for promoting the Beachtree brand, through upholding brand standards-, establishing a high standard of excellence and expectation:

• Cleans all bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and bedrooms
• Makes all beds
• Maintains flooring in all assigned units, including cleaning, polishing, and vacuuming
• Prepares linens needed in units
• Responsible for unit detailing: dusting, polishing of furniture, cleaning of baseboards, hanging drapery, and placing sectional rugs
• Window maintenance: washing all windows, including sills
• Disposal of all waste in the appropriate area
• Takes unit inventory and replenishes necessary items
• Reports any damage to supervisor immediately
• Offers great customer service, when applicable

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position all candidates must have the following:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 6 months experience and/or training as a Housekeeper; Hospitality experience, preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Open availability (nights, weekends, holidays, and on-calls)

Applicant MUST have the following skills:

• Strong listening, oral, and written communication skills
• Acute sense of urgency, with strong time management skill
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Basic computer skills (to track Time & Attendance)

While performing the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently life and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally life and/or move up to 50 lbs.
