Job description

• Perform a property walk including the exterior of the property several times daily to perform any cleaning needed, remove any trash, and report maintenance issues
• Stocks shipments of received inventory following FIFO
• Responsible for taking care of plants, flowers, and planters on property including watering, apply nutrient/minerals, pruning, re-planting, and cleaning planters
• Cleans designated areas with proper chemicals, tools, and equipment while following the correct cleaning procedures to meet the properties standards of cleanliness
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures
• Cleans toilets and stall walls
• Replaces towels, soaps and all public restroom amenities
• Mops, removes stains, cleans, and buffs all hard floor areas
• Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings
• Spot treats and vacuums public areas and hallways

Qualifications for houseman

• Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
• Ideal candidate will have experience working in a hotel environment or janitorial service that provides a superior level of guest service and professionalism
• Ability to speak and read English and/or Spanish preferred
• Complete all periodical tasks and special projects, such as flipping mattresses, cleaning curtains
