JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Engineer performs work to maintain the property and equipment. Duties may involve carpentry, painting, plumbing, and repairing equipment, buildings, floors, and furniture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine preventive maintenance of the property and equipment in accordance with the preventative maintenance program and standards
• Respond to maintenance tickets/requests promptly
• Complete maintenance activities including but not limited to plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing hardware, plumbing, electrical equipment, HVAC systems, tilling, painting, and wall surface repairs
• Fulfill maintenance work orders in a timely manner to maintain guest satisfaction
• Communicate with other departments regarding guest room conditions such as out of order rooms
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and storage rooms
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the exterior of the hotel, grounds, pool, and exercise room
• Frequent work with machinery
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Other duties and tasks as assigned

EXPERIENCE - EDUCATION

• Minimum of one (1) year of building maintenance experience; hotel experience preferred
• HVAC certification preferred

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
