What Is a Staffing Account Manager?
A staffing account manager creates long-term relationships between our clients and our agency. As a account manager, you’re the client’s contact for managing their accounts, including everything from filing the staffing orders to speaking with the entire staff a morning stand ups meetings. Your job duties include overseeing a portfolio of customers, training new hires on site, developing new leads, seeking sales opportunities with past customers, preparing reports on sales, predicting a client’s needs, and answering customer questions and concerns. Customer service and communication skills, as well as account management experience, are vital for this position.
This position will provide a salary, plus commissions based on your performance. You will be required to meet and talk with clients to generate new business. Normally your workdays would be Monday through Friday but occasionally you might have to work a few hours on a weekend. Your normal day would start at 8am until. Every day is different, some early days and some late.
You must be a self-starter and be able to work and produce without constant supervision. Please be results oriented and have a passion to do above and beyond at all times. You must be a team player and a people person with attention to detail. You must be able to “Say what you mean and mean what you say”. We do not over promise and under deliver. This is a great opportunity to learn the business and grow with the company. There will be additional training provided that would be required for you to attend from time to time. If you speak another language such as English / Spanish is a Plus.

Objectives of this role
- Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs
- Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
- Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals
- Work with operations, recruiting and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
Responsibilities
- Take inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
- Stay on top of accounts, making sure they’re receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs
- Meet regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
- Generate progress reports to give to clients and higher-ups within the organization
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly
Skills and qualifications
- Hotel Experience
- Bilingual ( English & Spanish)
- Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must know how to use Word and Excel
- Organizational skills and good attention to detail
Preferred qualifications
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
- Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software
