Housekeeping Inspector
Job description
Overview
Maintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates and vendors. Provide Housekeeping Team direction and support. The inspector position will be 2-3 days/week. The remainder of the days you will carry a board and clean rooms.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and Inspect Rooms as Necessary
- Provide direct supervision of Housekeeping Staff
- Create list of duties & task for Housekeeping Staff to completes
- Communicates with Vendors about supplies, orders & services
- Ensures all Housekeeping equipment is maintained, repaired &/or serviced as needed
- Maintains & purchases Housekeeping supplies, resources & tools as needed
- Ensures timely response to ALL Facility Housekeeping request
- Research new products & materials
- Participates, supervises, & coordinates ALL Housekeeping responsibilities
- Provides training & development of housekeeping Staff
- Oversees cleanliness of ALL Facility buildings
- Inspects, documents, and files Housekeeping assignments completed
- Oversees Facility Laundry Staff & process
- Attend any appropriate Job Training Courses as assigned
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, within recognized scope of the position
- Any other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, within the recognized scope of the position.
Qualifications
- Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach to assist other staff members, i.e., room attendants, housepersons, and inspectors to complete their individual tasks if situation demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
