JOB SUMMARY

The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping department. This position performs duties such as inspecting and cleaning guest rooms and training employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Smile, acknowledge, and greet guests in passing in rooms, hallways, and other public areas
• Assist with preparing daily work schedules including room boards and expediting workflow
• Assist with administrative duties such as productivity measurement, updating room status, submitting room work orders, and taking inventory
• Train employees and ensure they have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties
• Communicate with the front desk and maintenance regarding room status during peak times
• Clean guest rooms, including but not limited to stripping beds of all linens and remaking with fresh linens, cleaning the bathroom and closets, gathering and emptying trash, cleaning mirrors, dusting furniture and fixtures including wall hangings, cleaning hard floor areas, and vacuuming
• Achieve productivity and quality standards for cleaning rooms
• Other duties as assigned

RESUMEN DEL PUESTO

FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES

• Limpiar las habitaciones de los huéspedes, retirar toda la ropa blanca de las camas y volver a hacer las camas con ropa de cama limpia, limpiar el baño y los armarios, recolectar y vaciar la basura, limpiar los espejos, limpiar el polvo de los muebles y accesorios, incluidos los percheros, limpiar las áreas de piso de mosaico y pasar la aspiradora
• Cumplir las normas de productividad y calidad en materia de limpieza de habitaciones
• Otras funciones que le sean asignadas
