The Water Street Inn in Stillwater is hiring immediately for a Housekeeping Supervisor.

This position supervises the work activities of housekeepers, laundry attendants, and public areas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assigns daily work assignments.
• Monitors housekeeping’s daily progress. Inspect completed rooms to ensure all standards are met, and ensure employees correct any deficiencies.
• Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of room cleaner carts, closets, and equipment and all guest public areas.
• Screen and interview applicants and hire and train new employees.
• Provide ongoing training and guidance to employees and deliver corrective action when needed.
• Inventory stock to ensure sufficient supplies for guests.
• Ensure all employees use cleaning chemicals and supplies safely according to OSHA standards, and ensure all cleaning supplies ae properly labeled.
• Supervise special cleaning and disposal of biohazard items.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year certificate from college or technical school, 6-12 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of frequently walking, standing, kneel, crouch, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
