Education/experience
Experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping preferred. Ability to effectively read and write desired.

Job Summary
To provide housekeeping services and special floor care maintenance throughout campus facilities, and in support of university functions, to ensure a sanitary and safe environment. Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping equipment, supplies and assigned keys.

Required Qualifications
Knowledge of general housekeeping cleaning and cleaning equipment. Ability to accomplish a physically challenging occupation. Ability to understand and follow all safety precautions and work related directions. Ability to lift 50 pounds and move 25 pounds. Ability to communicate and work in a team effort. Semi-skilled in the operation of housekeeping powered equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
Valid driver’s license desired.
