Job description
This is a telework position. Reliable internet and phone service are required. The company will provide the necessary computer equipment to complete the role’s responsibilities. Remote office furnishing such as desk, chair, etc. is the responsibility of the employee. The shift is from 8am till 5pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support VP of Human Resources in cultivating an ownership mindset with all employees (culture)
- Manage all payroll processes. Payroll communication, processing, adjustments, and reporting
- Management of payroll system
- Record changes on all employee status as necessary, e.g., change of address, departmental transfers, rate increases, terminations, etc.
- Oversee onboarding of new personnel in HRIS
- Generate termination paperwork (as well as process manual checks) and process in HRIS
- Receive/Report all government pay mandates, such as garnishments, ORS, and tax levies
- Maintain commission rate tracking and prepare monthly commission calculation
- Reconcile monthly employee benefit billing and payment approvals
- Maintain personnel records
- Maintain compensation benchmarking and analytics system
- Assist with company engagement activities and events, as requested by supervisor
- Perform various HR Department projects/tasks as outlined by supervisor
- Perform diversified clerical and administrative activities

Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
- 1-2 years Human Resources related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Human relations skills, oral and written communications skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Ability to maintain neutrality and confidentiality in maintaining personnel records and resolving human relations concerns
- Some travel may be required
- Ability to listen, talk and communicate clearly on the telephone
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per year
