Job Summary:

The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including recruiting, enforcing company policies and practices, and analyzing HR KPIs,


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of job applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Schedules interviews with hiring team.
  • Manages onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure smooth transition to the team.
  • Posts open positions on various recruiting sites and optimizes job postings.
  • Serve as UKG administrator, responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the company's HR system.
  • Creates reports in UKG BI. Analyzes HR KPIs and interpret this data to provide recommendations.
  • Work closely with employees to conduct training in UKG.
  • Creates and maintain training guides.
  • Reconcile invoices, including new vendor set up.
  • Processes unemployment claims from outside vendor.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least two years of human resource management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
