Job responsibilities:
Medtelligent is looking for a tech-savvy, detail oriented individual to be the company’s first full-time human resource operations specialist.
While we love “people” people, the ideal person for this position will be more on the side of human resources operations. A “technology person” with human resource skills and will mainly be focused on the technical and compliance portions of Medtelligent’s human resources needs.
- Fielding technical questions surrounding benefit plans, coverage, COBRA, and more;
- Researching and documenting benefit provider alternatives;
- Working with multiple contacts/brokers on insurance and benefit needs
- Collaborating with controller on benefit charges related to payroll to confirm accuracy;
- Collaborating with leadership team and internal groups regarding company handbook and policies;
- Being the expert in the myriad of HR software platforms (insurance, 401k, other benefits);
- Backing up payroll administration for the controller
Requirements:
- Passion for technology and technical solutions to benefit issus;
- Experience picking out and managing benefit providers (currently we are on an Insperity non-PEO platform);
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues between benefit software solutions;
- Experience developing, supporting, and maintaining HR initiatives, procedures, and systems;
- Experience onboarding and offboarding employees and contractors;
- Experience managing company administrative benefits (PTO, 401k, length of stay programs, etc.);
- Experience collaborating with leadership to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations;
- Experience in managing review processes;
- The utmost commitment to confidentiality and integrity
- We do not require any degree but do require at least 1 year of relevant experience.
