Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Ford’s 100 years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On’s 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world’s best battery manufacturer.
About the Opportunity
The HR Systems Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for all technology utilized by the HR Team for their mission of attracting and retaining top talent at BlueOval SK. The expert will provide guidance on system strategy, selection, testing, support, and training for the entire HR technology suite. To ensure success as an HRIS administrator, the individual should possess experience in HRIS administration in a similar role. The HR Systems Administrator will align information technology expertise with knowledge of human resources to optimize the organization's HR practices.
Key Areas Responsibilities
- Support and manage the design, configuration and performance of BlueOval SK’s systems including Workday, SAP, Kronos, and other relevant information systems across all HR functions of the organization.
- Assist in Workday functions like business process and tenant configuration and upgrade evaluation.
- Act as escalation point for user-reported issues.
- Educate users on enhancement opportunities and process improvements through new functionality.
- Work closely with internal teams to identify requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment and training of Workday functionality.
- Analyze the efficiency of our HR systems, gathering user data, and monitoring performance metrics.
- Collaborate with HR managers and other stakeholders to determine HRIS needs.
- Analyzing HRIS performance metrics and resolving application issues.
- Create user accounts, managing access, and updating employee information.
- Perform system upgrades, as well as providing training and technical support.
- Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
- Optimize HRIS processes, integrating new software, and performing diagnostic tests.
- Maintain databases, analyzing data, ensuring data integrity, and running queries.
- Record and securely storing HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data.
- Audit HR processes and documents, including payroll administration, staff turnover, hiring, and termination of service, when required.
- Stays up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Workday and HCM systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, HR, Business Management or a related field.
- Will consider associate's degree with an additional 1-3 years of direct experience in IT or HRIS in place of a Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of experience with support and module configuration in Workday.
- Experience creating, loading, and troubleshooting EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders)
- Excellent analytical skills, proficient in Word, Excel and Access.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification (Workday system administrator, PMP, Six Sigma, etc)
