As HRIS Data Supervisor, you will impact lives of children, families, and senior adults through performing HRIS functions and related tasks for all Buckner corporations with a high level of detail, working with our HRIS vendor to resolve problems and improve use of HRIS for Buckner employees. You will be responsible for driving excellence and ensuring that HRIS strategies deliver the required results aligned with Buckner's mission, vision, and values.

- Provide HRIS support to leaders and business unit managers.
- With a high level of detail, audit for accuracy and approve all changes entered in to the HRIS.
- Create and enforce policies for effective data management.
- Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.
- Performs analysis of the HRIS by researching and identifying the root cause for data problems such as system limitations or design, user error or lack of standard procedures for accurate ongoing administration of the HRIS and reports.
- Collaborates, consults and partners with business owners regarding business needs and effectively discuss technical and resource availability.
- Develops queries and ad-hoc reports for internal and external customers based on predefined specifications.
- Monitors and supports ongoing maintenance of the HRIS including needs analysis, project planning, requirements specification, customization, testing, training and implementation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to maintain effective and efficient workflow procedures.
- Continually monitoring information needs and acts as a liaison and technical advisor in the design of new functionality, enhancements and/or the modification of the HRIS to meet changing business needs requirements.
- Recommends, tests, trains, documents, implements and plans for all improvements, enhancements, and new applications to various HR/PR systems, while promoting standardization and best practices across business units.
- Perform internal and external system audits to ensure data integrity and efficient processing.
- Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.
You will bring to the team a:
- Requires in-depth understanding of business principles related to payroll laws and regulatory requirements as evidenced by the attainment of a bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science plus extensive work experience in a related field of study. Involves ability to define problems, draw conclusions and make decisions dealing with abstract variables. Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Demonstrated aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends required. Experience in quantitative HRIS analysis preferred.
- Minimum 3 years proven success in related HR or Payroll IS analyst position.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll administration including multi-state payroll processing using payroll processing software. Prior related experience processing payroll using ADP preferred.
- Serves as technical lead and "Super User" for HR systems, applications and practices. Able to assess current HR technology and optimize the overall HR technology solution.
- General knowledge of areas of IT associated with software design, testing and test planning, information flow and architecture.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel including the use of pivot tables required.
- Strong attention to detail, and the proven ability to take initiative, make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment and develop creative solutions.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality, ability to maintain composure and handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Significant experience, knowledge and expertise in business systems, analysis and design and project life cycle methodology, best practices and processes.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including some early mornings and evenings, and some weekends.
- Proficient understanding of SAP HR security roles and how combined security roles impact user access is required.
- Must possess current working knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and maintain current on laws in the states where each corporation operates.
- Mathematical aptitude, analysis skills and ability to communicate such orally and in writing required.
- Critical thinking skills in formulating hypotheses, interpreting results, and being able to make educated guesses when data may be sparse or unavailable required.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
