Human Resources Assistant and Receptionist
Job description
The School District of the Menomonie Area has a year-round, 8-hour per day Receptionist and Human Resources Clerical position at the Administrative Service Center. This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Summer hours are Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days. Wages, hours and conditions of employment are in accordance with the School District of the Menomonie Area Employee Handbook. The starting wage is $20.53 per hour with a full benefits package. The position is to begin June 5, 2023 or as close to that date as possible.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to: Insure smooth and efficient operations of Human Resources matters, excellent use of office equipment, including computers and software (Skyward, Google, and Microsoft Office Suite), manage and coordinate substitute services using Frontline substitute scheduling software, excellent communication skills, ability to maintain absolute confidentiality, possess excellent interpersonal skills, follow through on oral and written instructions, exercise prudent judgment, ability to work independently and have the ability and flexibility to work extra hours when deadlines need to be met.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to be warm and welcoming, an independent thinker, and open to change; understand the need to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with frequent interruptions and shifts in workplace prioritization; and have a full understanding of the importance of accurate and flawless communication. Experience and/or education in Human Resources will be prioritized. This position will remain open until filled with a first review of applications to occur on May 22, 2023. EOE.
