Job Summary:

Kukulu LLC has an immediate opening for an HR Generalist in our El Paso TX office. This position will primarily provide support services for companies providing support to SCA contracts that provide contractor medical services on military installations. The Human Resource Generalist will report to the HR Director and provide services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations’ human resource department and ensure compliance with labor regulations. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a high paced office, providing support to multiple organizations with diverse work locations. The Human Resource Generalist will provide support in ensuring hiring compliance for candidates, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices as well as HIPPA, ADA and ACA compliance. This position requires experience with Service Contract Act, Davis Bacon Act (DBA), OFCCP, VETS reporting, and EEO reporting. This position is on site and is not a remote work position.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as standard policies, benefits, leaves, hiring processes and resolve any issues that may arise; refers more complex topics/questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave.
  • Ensures HIPPA, ADA and ACA compliance.
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire onboarding to include enrollment actions for benefits with vendors.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, reporting and auditing requirements.
  • Processes paperwork for short term disability and FMLA requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Through understanding of Service Contract Act (SCA). Davis Bacon Act (DBA) and multiple state employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,600.00 - $53,600.00 per year
