Job Description:

HVAC mechanics perform various functions in ensuring effective installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment to the satisfaction of their clients HVAC equipment’s.

Core Responsibilities:

• Performs all mechanical operations and preventive maintenance requirements of the HVAC systems in Facilities building(s). Maintains boilers, chillers, pumps, air handler units, fan coil units, direct digital and pneumatic control, lighting scheduling, Rtus , Cooling Tower, mini split units etc.

• Monitors and adjusts all mechanical/pneumatic equipment, control gauges, distributor panels, valves, thermostats, diffusers, and other equipment necessary to provide a thermally comfortable environment for the building occupancy populations. Long term projects will require directed and supervised project management skills

• Operates and monitors central plant equipment, HVAC equipment and alarms via computers at various sites. Maintains uniform building operating procedures at each site. Responds to and take action on critical alarms. Makes rounds to check equipment and maintains a log of electrical/temperature measurements

• Assists and/or coordinates scheduled equipment repairs or work, including those requiring a contractor. Notifies supervisor of any equipment problems and reviews work orders for corrective action. Enters current and historical maintenance records and data.

• Assists in training new HVAC technicians. Rotates from sites to maintain familiarity with both central plants and supporting building systems and Building Automation Systems.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalency degree preferred.

· Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.

· Must Have EPA Universal Certification

· Minimum of 5+ years HVAC mechanic Experience

Other:

· Able to lift and carry up to thirty pounds frequently

· Requires frequent lifting, bending, pushing and pulling.

· Use of ladder and step stool.

· Standing and walking minimum of an eight-hour shift.

· Exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons, including variable temperatures and wet and/or humid conditions.

· Occasionally exposed to hazardous materials when responding to spills or suspicious Substance calls.

· Gaming environment – noise level may be moderate to high during busy times

· Weekends, Holidays, and swing shift work may be required some Travelling to local locations as needed.

· Perfom skilled Hvac Mechanical repair & services

· Able to interpret engineering drawings and Manuals

· Trade or Vocational school graduate

· Experienced with building automation systems.

· may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments); may require work and/or on call duties.
