The Position:

We are looking for an HVAC Technician for project work with a wide variety of abilities that complements ISC’s culture of integrity. We are looking for an HVAC Technician who performs skilled, complex work in the repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and steam distribution equipment systems.

Applicants should have the ability to:

• Installs, maintains and repairs heating, ventilating, air conditioning and steam distribution equipment and systems.
• Operates a variety of equipment as needed to perform work.
• Installs, maintains and repairs computerized electronic pneumatic devices related to HVAC Control.
• Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment or follows diagrams or blueprints.
• Load, transport and unload material, tools, equipment and supplies.
• Maintains tools and equipment.
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties as required.

• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Perform a variety of duties which may change often.
• Perform arithmetical operations rapidly and accurately.
• See detail in objects or drawings as 3-dimensional objects.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Integrity in dealing with other associates
• Team player with willingness to learn
• Responsible, self-motivated person with good people skills (ethics, attitude, honesty)
• Typically requires 3 years of industrial HVAC experience
• Must have certification, NCCER or a certified equivalent
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Neat appearance
• Ability to work with other personalities in the department and company
