Aston Carter is hiring for a Hybrid Medicare Biller in Arlington Heights, IL!

Description:

• Responsible for following up with payers
• Processes 55 accounts per day
• Works with Medicare, Medicaid, replacement plans, managed care, workers comp & commercial payers
• Primarily inpatient and outpatient for hospital Medicare billing
• Follows up on claims and resolutions
• Working within EPIC
• Reviews aging reports or work lists in hospital related billing system(s) to identify accounts in need of follow up
• Resolves claim edit errors and issues identified in the Claim Edit work queues, tracks and trends and inform Manager/Supervisor
• Contacts employers, insurance carriers, Medicare/Medicaid, and other parties for interpretation of coverage and benefits
• Executes the denial appeals process to resolve appeals with third-party payer

Hours:

• M-F 7am-3:30pm
• 2 Months + IN PERSON for training. Once comfortable on his or her own, candidate can move to a hybrid work schedule with the rest of the team.

Qualifications:

• Experience 2+ years in Medicare Billing/Follow up Hospital
• Working knowledge of HB billing on UB04's
• Must know Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care plans in Hospital setting
