Job description

Pomeroy is seeking a skilled IIB Developer for a 3 month contract to hire. This is a fully remote role. Candidates must have a strong background in IIB (IBM Integration Bus), IBM MQ, or ACE Development.

The appropriate candidate demonstrates ability to handle functional problems with minimal supervision, is able to manage multiple tasks successfully, ability to understand and follow project processes, uses good judgment to resolve or escalate problems or issues, and must be flexible to the clients design requirements. After hour support, when requested and minimal travel may be required.

Essential Functions:

Integration developer required with working knowledge of IBM tool sets, primarily MQ , Integration Bus and ACE. Scripting, SAP IDOC knowledge and XML a plus. Responsible for analysis, design, and implementation, troubleshooting, and production support.

Essential Knowledge:

• Good customer relationship skills
• Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) concepts --Software develop lifecycle.

Essential Education:

• BS in Engineering/Computer Sciences and 5+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience combination.

Essential Skills:

• Experience on a variety of platforms (Linux, Windows),
• EAI Development skills –IBM Integration BUS –Web Services –API
• Java/J2EE –IBM MQ –EDI
• Unix (AIX, LINUX) –APP Connect –Containers –Docker –Kubernetes

Nice-to-have:

SAP development and SAP Interface technologies (RFC, BAPI, IDOC), GITHUB, Jenkins, Oracle, IBM WTX, IBM Sterling Integrator.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
